Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briem is a Icelandic actress. The actress is most famous for playing Jane Seymour, the young female who becomes the 3rd queen of Henry VIII on the television series The Tudors. Briem was first introduced to the world of acting as an actress in the National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. In her native Iceland she was involved in numerous plays, radio broadcasts and television shows as an actress in her early years. After the age of 16, Briem was transferred to London where she was part of an event for the theater of the stage play Lenin In Love at the New End Theater. Briem attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for three years, earning an award in the field of drama. When she was at RADA it was the place where she performed in a variety of plays, including The Cherry Garden of Anton Chekhov and the play Bernarda Alba's house by Federico Garcia Lorca.
