Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies Her acting career began at age 12 at which point she began attending open casting auditions in her local area. She quickly began appearing in commercials of companies such as Virgin Mobile. Gillies played a regular role in The Black Donnellys during three episodes. Her parents did not allow her to see the full show because they felt that it was inappropriate. In 2008 she was cast in minor roles in the show The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. At the end of summer, Ariana, who would then appear in Victorious alongside her, was brought on as Lucy in an Goodspeed production that was Jason Robert Brown's 13 musical. In the following year 13 was released on Broadway. Broadway production of the show released, and it became the first Broadway production with a cast made entirely up of teens. Gillies' two greatest numbers, "Opportunity", and "It isn't true" was later followed by minor roles in tunes like "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready" as well as the song that was to be her title. Gillies continued working on the show until it closed on January 4, 2009.
